It’s well known that Argentina’s arts and antiques of great quality have positioned our country as the moment’s hot place for dealers and collectors. This country features a unique culture with the best influxes of Latin America and Europe. Buenos Aires, Argentina's capital city has always been a place where all the trends converge from Europe, the States and world wide locations. This country of immigrants was built upon influences, cultural and material brought by those newcomers from their motherlands back in the early days of our republic in the early 19th century. The cultural treasures brought by the flow of Europeans from the East and the West, were early milestones for the art, antiques and collectibles markets to be. But it was thanks to a local trend of wealth, distinction, and sophistication that outstanding old continent products and works of art, reached our southern shores. The all mighty argentine pampas field positioning our country as the World’s barn, its landlords and societal individuals linked it, would live in Argentina as if it was France, England, Germany or the Italian countryside. They bought everything back in the centres of culture, from art, and furniture to bathroom ware of all kind. In that way, the generations to come, had an early, strong and wonderful material and cultural heritage to develop upon. Our rich melting pot history and culture paired to a strong Dollar and Euro, positions Argentina today as a paradise for art dealers and collectors from around the globe. That’s why Bob Frassinetti Art & Antique Dealer has a perfect customized option for those who want more, those who wish to take the best advantage of this special market in the most effective, simple yet superb way. During the days you will be here in BA, you can come and stay at one of BA's most beautiful Bed and Breakfast at a room specially decorated for you featuring original stylish art and antiques that suit your taste. Your custom made room specially arranged to your delight and passion will feature the selection of the objects personally handled by the team of specialists of Buenos Aires Art & Antique Dealer. Each of the daily activities is planned in advance with you in order to plan a perfect buying trip to suit your needs and interests. We'll hunt down those one of a kind items through off the path markets in Buenos Aires as well as visiting renamed markets and fairs where thanks to our work during the past 10 years we've developed contacts with fellow collectors and specialists that are constantly working in the art and antiques’ quest. Those local shops and galleries, markets and fairs that are not regularly on the path of foreign buyers and dealers, will be available for you to select the antiques you came looking for. During your stay in Buenos Aires you'll be able to enjoy the best of the Argentinean cuisine and culture. These custom made tours for dealers and collectors are personally handled by the art and antique dealer, Bob Frassinetti and Miss Flor who specialize in the subject and know very well Buenos Aires’ insiders art and antique world. If your partner, with whom you enjoy so much travelling together, does not wish to hunt down antiques and art, this is no longer an obstacle for each of you to enjoy a wonderful vacation without the need of sacrificing your passion. We acknowledge the fact that people have different interests so there's no need for one of them to do something he or she doesn't care much for. That's why we arrange custom made tours for each traveller, for those who come specially to buy collectibles and antiques, as well as for those who whish to come to relax and enjoy the Glamour and Luxury of Buenos Aires, its sophisticated stores, high class spas and amazing cultural alternatives. Some of the activities can be arranged to be done separately though some others together so each of you enjoy the best this city has to offer. Contact us for details, Bob Frassinetti. Ba Stay and Accommodation for Art & Antique Dealers In Argentina
Topic: Art Dealer
All inclusive art & antique tour plus customized accommodation in Buenos Aires, with Bob Frassinetti.....

Melilla in northeastern, Nort Africa
Topic: Art Dealer
Looking for a Spanish Artist.

Another weekend at the flea markets with this result..... In 1780: The Agreement of Aranjuez between the Sultan of Morocco and the Spanish king makes Morocco accept the existence of the
territory of Melilla as a Spanish protectorate.

In 1860: Territory of Melilla is extended after a Spanish military campaign in Morocco. 1893-94: War of Melilla, following a conflict between Melilla and tribesmen of the Rif mountains. *1909: Spain sends 90,000 troops to Melilla in northeastern
Morocco to take control over the hinterland, with the areas of Oued Kert and Oued Molouya (this is the subject of my painting).

See Image gallery of this painting:

......... Ever since Art Dealer and the Buenos Aires Toy Museum were conceived in my mind, the work and development of these two wonderful projects increased and grew at a fantastic rate.

My stepping stone was Internet, my virtual museum and art show room.

Hence I turned my study room at home into a home office, and soon, my working table was the focal point to an upgrading business.

At the time my broad cultural project developed, and I upgraded my virtual show rooms from a free-of-charge website at tripod into my own domain, the necessary expansion of the museum led me into acquiring more and more vintage toys. The storage space available at the house, I took it all. but my family insisted that if this was my life's project and I really wanted to keep up with the developing rate I had so far I needed to move my office out of the house, find a special place in which to keep on evolutioning.

That's how I ended up renting this great office.

The place looked awful the first time I came in. however I saw plenty of potential, three rooms, a kitchen and an individual entrance, all rounding up 70 square mts. To work around! We fixed what needed to be fixed and made over what needed some makeup work such as painting and lots of floor polishing.

Three years have gone by since I first rented this office, and tons of work and new projects were born inhere, those fantastic research projects whose results we've been sharing with all our fellow collectors around the world, many of the main interviews and mystery solving took place right here. We developed greatly thanks to the great welcoming our work has throughout the world.

Now it's time to cut off our strings and keep on growing, developing in order to further on our research, built our own vintage toy show room down here in Buenos Aires, for all those collectors who come to the city of tango for leisure & pleasure, even more, to further on our work in the world of art and antiques. We keep on growing, we keep on expanding! We treasure our days here in our lime green office, great moments have this place behold.

We aim that our new home would treasure our hearts and work with such great positive energy and memories to treasure and to keep on improving ourselves and our work.

So farewell to this office. and welcome to a new stage of our development as a team and project! May the next stage begin with joy and success!

Cheers to sunny and beautiful Acassuso, our home for the past three years, our stepping stone for the best that's coming ahead!

Best Wishes for the New Year, 2005.

The Buenos Aires Art Dealer has began this new year with new and powerful
strength. We've developed and grown much during the last couple of years,
and 2005 appears to us as a turning point for greater things.
Throughout 2004 we've posted all over the world articles about lighthouses
in Argentina and Uruguay. Telling wonderful stories about these fantastic
buildings, their history and architecture as well as the folk that locals
begun many years ago. We've traveled around 14 lighthouses in 30 days
imitating Jules Verne trip, discovering the majesty behind the construction
in our minds. Now we feel it has come to the point that the experience with
all these magical locations and constructions needs to develop into a higher
level. That's why we're working on the pre production to an Argentinean
coastline lighthouse documentary. All our research and writing is the base
foundation to this ambitious project that's slowly coming to life.
According to our work schedule, by July 2005 we'll begin the shooting over
the Atlantic coastline. Our base is a gorgeous cottage by the sea, in
Valeria del Mar, surrounded by pine and eucalyptus trees. From there we'll
be taking our crew to unspotted virgin beaches guided by the lighthouses'
projections into the ocean. The time has come for us to share the natural
beauty of our beaches and their history with all of you.

An other ambitious and wonderful transition we'll be carrying on this year
is ArtDealer's boutique B&B. This is a project we've had for many years now;
we've been awaiting for the best timing and we believe that moment has
arrived. This Boutique B&B is not just a mere high quality lodging option
but also a fantastic art and culture alternative. For Artdealer is a guide
to the best art, antiques, collectibles and design made or found in Buenos
Aires this Boutique B&B is also a live show room. Both renamed and upcoming
artists' works would have a place to exhibit their pieces; fabulous vintage
furniture and decoration and many other outstanding facets to this gorgeous
lodging opportunity. At the same time we believe this is the best next step
in the development of our custom made tour service. We've stated many times
before that we deeply believe in a custom made tour is the best alternative
for those who visit our beautiful country. Therefore a customized lodging
such as Artdealers Boutique B&B is an outstanding input.
Some 30min away from the noiciness of the city, Artdealer Boutique B&B would
be located in the sophisticated, environmental friendly and historically
treasured San Isidro. Surrounded by trees and just 5 min away from the
riverside. it's the closest to a perfect location in the Buenos Aires area
that you can get!
We'll keep you all posted letting you know how this Boutique B&B develops
